Remember the days of the old school yard Hay War Memorial High School has a strong tradition of Class reunions and on the October long weekend class of ‘74-’79 met to remember their days at the school. Much laughter was had, as ex-students shared memories of their time in High School, and the changes in the past 35 years. Comparison were made about who still had hair, who would be able to fit into their old uniforms and “are we where we thought we would be when we left school.” Some marvelled at how small everything seemed now, especially the desks, and others commented with surprise that today's students have air conditioning and no blackboards.
