New Director of Development Hired
Meet Julia Westfahl. Julia’s title is Director of Development at Interfaith Housing
Services, but only because we couldn’t fit all of her duties onto a business card!
In addition to taking the lead in our development department, she oversees the
Weatherization Program and our Federal Home Loan Bank Program.
Julia is a Hutchinson, Kansas native. She is married to Travis Westfahl and is the
mother of two wonderful children, Felicity (13) and Connor (8). When asked what
brought her to Interfaith Housing Services two and a half years ago, her answer was, “I
was very intrigued by working for an agency that gives so much to the community.” She continued on
by saying, “I just love being part of a team environment that finds true joy in giving to the community.
I love that we have the ability to help clients through various programs that are offered through our
agency. There is nothing better than seeing a project through from the beginning stages to the very
end and seeing how we have been able to help improve a client’s life.”
