Valentine’s Day is a holiday about love. What better way to show
that love by hosting a family date night? Below is a list items you
may use to get started for this special occasion.
• Rented Movie
• Colored M&M’s
• Tea-Lights or any candles around the house
• Table cloth
• Construction Paper
• Markers
• Home-cooked meal
To begin, have your children make Valentine’s Day cards to place on the table. This can be a great
activity and can provide added decoration. Next, begin setting up the table by using a table cloth
and laying out all plates, silverware, and napkins. You can then light the candles and spread the
M&M’s around the cloth. Lastly, use the children’s cards as place settings and your table will be
decorated and ready to place your fabulous, home-cooked meal on.
