Principles for Intelligent Transition - Whitepaper | Page 6

Principle 1

Transition IS Straightforward

Few companies find technology projects straightforward. Even fewer transition them well to operations. The transition process is viewed as difficult and disruptive. In fact, it’s only difficult because the connection between the project and operations is not made early enough. As a result companies are not aware of all the operational gaps and are unable to put in place strategies on how to bridge them.

Bridges are designed to connect people and places, and in the case of technology projects they connect people with change. To transition people through the change all the bridges must be in place.
