“ I believe Math is the only principle that has the power to move the world . And I love sharing those principles with others .” Edward ’ s passion and love for Math has taken him to experience and enjoy many different careers , from being a professor at a prestigious university in Korea for Mathematical Statistics to a ‘ Quant ’ and portfolio manager at illustrious hedge funds in both Seoul and NYC . He received his masters from Columbia University in Financial Engineering and is currently pursing his PH . D in Statistics at Temple University . We should probably mention that he has been teaching math as a tutor and teacher at Honors Review since 2013 ; he coaches the AMC Team at Honors Review ; and on rare occasions , when he does have free time , he loves jamming on his bass guitar .
Jason graduated from Duke University and has taught in the NJ Public School System for over 6 years , and has vast experience teaching Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate program . Jason started tutoring students for the SAT when it was out of only 1600 before 2006 , and has since helped many students with the SAT , ACT , SAT II ’ s , AP ’ s and more .
