MHS Class of’ 68 Reunion set for July 6 & 7

“ It’ s hard to believe 50 years have gone by,” says Bruce MacLeod, Chair of the Moncton High School Class of’ 68 reunion. He and his committee of 12 have been working for months, planning the two-day event, which begins Friday evening, July 6 with a Meet & Greet at the Alma City Club and continues Saturday with a tour of the new Moncton High School, followed by a reception, dinner and presentations at the Alma City Club.
To date 70 percent of the 349 grads have been contacted, not an easy task since they’ re scattered across Canada and the US, plus one in England.“ We had 25th and 30th reunions and those lists help,” he says.“ We use Classmates. com and email and every time we make a contact we ask if they’ re in regular contact with someone else and if they’ ll forward the message.”
When they do get together, there’ ll be lots of stories to share, including MacLeod’ s experience in Gander, as a flight service specialist with
