MHS Class of ’ 68 Reunion set for July 6 & 7

“ It ’ s hard to believe 50 years have gone by ,” says Bruce MacLeod , Chair of the Moncton High School Class of ’ 68 reunion . He and his committee of 12 have been working for months , planning the two-day event , which begins Friday evening , July 6 with a Meet & Greet at the Alma City Club and continues Saturday with a tour of the new Moncton High School , followed by a reception , dinner and presentations at the Alma City Club .
To date 70 percent of the 349 grads have been contacted , not an easy task since they ’ re scattered across Canada and the US , plus one in England . “ We had 25th and 30th reunions and those lists help ,” he says . “ We use Classmates . com and email and every time we make a contact we ask if they ’ re in regular contact with someone else and if they ’ ll forward the message .”
When they do get together , there ’ ll be lots of stories to share , including MacLeod ’ s experience in Gander , as a flight service specialist with
