strength-based approach, staff support young
people in the development of:  effective decision
making, self-esteem, communication skills, and
goal setting.  
We want to introduce you to a registered
charitable organization that believes every
young person deserves the opportunity to make
their life a better one.  Youth Impact Jeunesse
Inc. has been helping children and youth
succeed since 1985.  The organization has a
physical presence in six communities. It offers
17 programs, employs over 200 staff members,
manages an operating budget of over $8.5
million, and is the largest of its kind in New
Brunswick.
There are three streams of service: residential,
community outreach, and programs that
support young people struggling with issues of
homelessness. Residential settings have several
different focuses:  stabilization, assessment,
treatment, and long-term care. Community
outreach programs support: engagement,
education, employment, a variety of information
sessions, art and recreation. Homelessness
services include: transitional housing and a
youth resource centre.  The common thread in
these services is reducing risk factors that have

QUEST Central, Transitional Housing and Drug
