The adventurous journey of HealthCare Consulting
Services (HCS) incepted single handedly, putting extra
efforts on projects in Mumbai, on varied verticals of
healthcare industry. In 2009-10, the company was able to
deliver a project which involved- free GAP analysis ‘Hospital
Health Evaluation’. Additionally, the team was able to
complete the projects in a very short span of time. Then,
they went ahead with commissioning of the clinics, which
covered Delhi and Bangalore for a foreign Multinational
Investor. The team of HCS catered and geared up to handle
multiple hospital project in Mumbai. They have extended
their advisory services out of Mumbai too and at present
manage couple of Charitable hospitals, small sized private
single doctor owned hospitals, diagnostic centers and
pharmacy units.

Since its operations in 2013, HCS has focused in
creating a dashboard for hospitals based on Key
Performance Indicators (KPI). This includes bed
occupancy rate, Bed turnover rate, Average length of
stay, Operations Theatre (OT) utilization rates,
Capacity Utilization rate, OPD to IPD turnover rate,
OPD follow up turnover rate, proportion of new
patients referred by existing patients, proportion of
walk-in to referred, Discharge against medical advice
rate, patient satisfaction rate, cost per patient days,
revenue per patient days, etc. All these parameters and
more are measured post GAP analysis, marketing &
branding strategies, media planning, Clinical &
Non-clinical parameters, helping hospitals with
adequate and competent manpower , media
equipment planning and quality benchmarking.
Last but not the least, HCS also provides a
managing and integrating information technology to
the processes, on a daily basis. Altogether, HCS acts
as an extended arm to these hospitals and aims to
expand their infrastructure to a multispecialty scale.

to bring about a Hospital Information
System (HIS), which help hospitals to
effectively manage their entire process.
HCS is also negotiating with these IT
companies to make it cost effective, so,
hospitals with lesser revenue can also
afford their IT Administrators, thereby
increasing their overall efficiency of the
system.
