HANDING OUT PAPERS
Once a Class Notebook is created , it can be accessed in the Microsoft OneNote program , Microsoft Teams , or online . In any program , a Class Notebook gives the option to Distribute Page .
GRADING
By selecting Review Student Work in a OneNote Class Notebook , teachers can automatically view individual pages from each student . They can also write or type directly on the student ' s page and be viewed in real-time .
This allows the teacher to distribute multiple pages to the notebook of every student - even across classes . No more paper-passing sessions at the beginning of the year , or rushing to the copier because you miscounted ( we ' ve all done it ).
EMBEDDED RESOURCES
OneNote works with most edtech resources to allow embedding directly into notebook pages .
MINI SELF-PUBLISHING
If you have ever developed a multi-page resource and hesitated to print the whole thing , this is an excellent tool for you . In addition to avoiding a bulky packet , each " Page " can be titled with the section name .
ANNOTATION
I avoided digital handouts for so long because it did not offer the opportunity to write by hand . Now with the availability of affordable tablets and stylī , students can take notes just like they would on paper .
RECOMMENDATIONS
Microsoft OneNote is a powerful tool for any classroom , but here are my recommendations for use in a classical language class : as the class binder -- feel free to use the same order and sections as a traditional binder important handouts - like the syllabus and rubrics guided notes to " hand out " papers during class class activities reading passages to hold resources for students glossaries and declension charts

Have fun and Happy Organizing !
