It was another successful year of the
National Mythology Exams . This year , we incorporated the Medusa Mythology Exam and renamed the original NME to the Pegasus Mythology Exam . The Exams were offered both on paper and online via Quia . com . Awards were reworked this year as well . In total , over 8,000 Exams were ordered this year , which is up from last year ’ s number . Almost 7,000 Exams were graded , with about 51 % of students receiving
awards .
The Pegasus Mythology Exam had over
5,300 exams ordered : 2,578 paper exams and 2,928 online exams . There were 559 perfect papers . 486 students earned a summa cum laude award , 556 students earned a maxima cum laude award , 643 students earned a magna cum laude award , and 343 students earned a cum laude award . In total , almost 52 % of test takers earned an award .
The Medusa Mythology Exam had over
2,300 Exams ordered , both paper and online . There were 14 perfect papers . 146 students earned a summa cum laude award , 231 students earned a maxima cum laude award , 210 students earned a magna cum laude award , and 346 students earned a cum laude award . In total , about 51 % of students earned an award .
SCRIBO Creative Writing
Contest 2020-2021

@ magistercarroll The 2020-2021 SCRIBO Creative Writing Contest was a great success , with increased participation in the contest . This year ’ s theme was “ Famous People of the Ancient Mediterranean ,” which gave young authors a wide range of material from which to draw inspiration . 132 students from 28 different schools participated in the SCRIBO Contest this year .
The judges read entries by 6th through 12th grade students from the United States , Canada , and Italy .

72 students won awards . There were six perfect scores in the summa cum laude level . Seven students earned a maxima cum laude score . Fourteen students earned magna cum laude , while 45 students earned cum laude .
We are especially grateful to members of the 2020-2021 SCRIBO Committee for their work as organizers and judges of this
contest .
