ETC congratulates Maureen Lamb on winning two prestigious awards in 2022 !
Maureen Lamb of Simsbury , Connecticut , was presented with the ACTFL / IALLT Award for Excellence in World Language Instruction Using Technology ( K-12 ) by the American Council for Teaching Foreign Languages ( ACTFL ).
Maureen is a Latin teacher and Dean of Educational Technology and Innovative Pedagogy at The Ethel Walker School .
The ACTFL / IALLT Award for Excellence in World Language Instruction Using Technology ( K-12 ) is presented annually to recognize excellence in the integration and use of technology in world language instruction at the K-12 level .

It is the outgrowth of collaboration between ACTFL and the International Association for Language Learning Technology ( IALLT ). Recipients must show a technology-enhanced approach to language teaching , objectives , and specific strategies using technology that contribute to the attainment of the course goals within the framework of the World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages .
