We introduced our redesign of PRIMA two years ago -- and that issue was several months overdue too ! I am continually grateful for the understanding of my peers in classics education as we work to create a publication for the secondary school classics teacher .

This issue highlights the achievements of our colleagues and students throughout the 2021-2022 school year . Classics has had an exciting year in education ! From teacher accolades at the ACL and ACTFL conferences to students ' high scores on ETC ' s national exams -- the pursuit of classics is strong in secondary education .
I know you enjoy this latest issue of PRIMA . You will read about the new members and officers in Excellence Through Classics as we welcome our new Chair , Stephanie Krause . You will spend a day in Nicole Wellington ' s classroom and learn to make Arachne ' s web . And you will see the impressive work of classics students around the world , from Latin poetry to artwork .
Speaking of artwork , please take a moment to look at this issue ' s cover art , designed using Artificial Intelligence . I have enjoyed incorporating
Open AI ' s DALL-E into my teaching practice -- more about that in our next issue of PRIMA !
