I have been studying them for a very long time , and I have always been fascinated by mythology and ancient culture .

My Latin teacher told me about it and nominated me .
WHY DO YOU LIKE THE STUDY OF CLASSICS AND MYTHOLOGY SPECIFICALLY ? WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MYTH ?
I started reading mythology when I was very young , and they appealed to me then because they were such fun stories . As a result , Greek and Roman myths have always been familiar to me . I find it interesting to compare different mythologies and look for parallels . My favorite myth is probably the myth of Icarus .
WHAT ’ S YOUR DREAM JOB ? HOW DO YOU THINK THE STUDY OF CLASSICS WILL HELP YOU ACHIEVE THIS DREAM ?
My dream job is to become an author . Studying the classics gave me a good work ethic and lots of inspiration . It also helped me get to know my own language a little better .
BESIDES ACADEMICS , WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT ?
I run cross-country and downhill ski race . I also love to read whenever I have free time .

ANY WORDS OF WISDOM FOR OTHER YOUNG CLASSICISTS OUT THERE ?
I would encourage them to do what they love . Learning Latin and Greek never felt like work because it was fun and interesting .
