UILDING on the
success of the
last two years –
Pride Cymru’s
city centre
parade returns.
A melting pot of colour, fun, entertainment and friendship. This year’s
Parade promises to be bigger and
better! We want as many businesses, organisations and individuals to join with us on this special
occasion to highlight LGBT rights
in Wales.
Stats show us that only too vividly
that trans and homophobic hate
crime is still prevalent in Wales; and
that many of us have suffered bullying and discrimination in schools
and at work.
BE PART OF THE PEACEFUL
PICTURE CELEBRATION!
Bringing us inline with other Pride
events throughout the UK – this
year’s Parade embraces the new
name, ‘Pride Cymru’, with the
theme ‘Welsh Pride is…’ set to
represent what ‘Welsh Pride’ really
means to you and others.
Welsh Pr i d e
Parade
The aim of the Welsh Pride Parade
is to create understanding and
acceptance through visibility.
Those taking part in the parade are
encouraged to keep this in mind
when preparing for the day. Be as
creative and as colourful as you like.

We’re also encouraging bystanders
to whip out their mobile and tablet
devices and help capture the event,
using #WelshPrideis, which will be
displayed throughout the day on
the big screen at the main event.
