Albertville: Small town living, big city life
Albertville prides itself on a friendly community atmosphere that offers the feel of a small town with the amenities of a big city. Located approximately halfway between the Twin Cities and St. Cloud along the I-94 corridor, Albertville has been a destination city for over 25 years since the opening of the Albertville Premium Outlets.
The city boasts a sizeable commercial locale, with restaurants, furniture and cabinet stores, a popular toy store and its Main Avenue attractions. Main Avenue is where thousands of residents and visitors gather every year for the popular Albertville Friendly City Days summer festival, one of the largest in the northwest metro. This year’ s festivities will take place June 10-14.
Albertville has a population of approximately 8,500 people, with several housing and commercial projects underway, including an ALDI grocery store, Guardian Angels Engel Haus Senior Living, Everbrook Academy, Gravity Dance Studio, KinderCare Childcare, Mister Car Wash, Mold-Tech, Si Senor Restaurant and Toy Box Partners.

Albertville is home to the St. Michael-Albertville Ice Arena, the STMA hockey teams, as well as a mecca for youth hockey to communities beyond Albertville and St. Michael.
The Cedar Creek Golf Course offers 18 holes of championship golf over beautiful rolling fairways, challenging greens and a great player-friendly atmosphere for any age or ability.
The Albertville City Council meets at 7 p. m. on the first and third Mondays of each month at City Hall, 5959 Main Ave., 763-497-3384.
