Just a bridgewidth from Portland in beautiful downtown Vancouver, WA the Kiggins is an independently minded, community focused theatre with 300+ seats, a giant red velvet curtain and domed footlights running across the back of the stage. The art-deco design and Tristian Spillman, the regular host, has a slightly campy demeanor that gives the venue a fun, retro style. It is once month, with 3-4 comics performing shorter sets and a headliner on for 20 to 30 minutes. They do a good job of providing variety in their booking, but tend towards more experienced comics especially with their headliners, which is reflected in the audience also being a little older. Comedy Night @ Kiggins Theatre* is a traditional comedy showcase in a pleasant atmosphere, intended for ages 21 and over as beer and wine is available, however you should feel safe inviting friends and family to this light-hearted good time.
