My name is Kenneth Asone Bethune Sr. I am a local music Artist / Producer and I go by name M.A.C. M.O.B. and I am based in my Hometown Portland Oregon. I produce rap / hip hop music mainly, But I can produce almost any genre of music.
I found music at a very young age ,I started rappin around 6 years old. I have a older sibling who was a well known local portland rapper, one of the only females the rap at portlands own first rap showcase The POH HOP 1. Nicole Bethune aka Mizzery My older sister influenced me a lot.
I started to produce and pursue music around the age 11, i was a shy music just brought my thoughts out vocally .I taught my self how to write lyrics in 16 bar verses and 4 / 8 bar hooks, I would steal no limit soldier singles Cus they allways had instrumentals for my beats , I stole a mic from radio shack , wrote and recorded full tracks with my Younger Cousin to recordable tapes cassettes on my akai stereo my mom got me for christmas we use to perform for family at get togethers.
I recorded on cassettes and wrote lyrics for years working on my craft from the age 11 up until the age of 16. 8th grade year I was put into rehab for marijauna In rehab I wrote books full of lyrics got better and better. Got a computer when I completed rehab. 12th grade I use to go to salvation army because they had a studio. Pretty much seen the recording programs they used and doqnloaded them on my computer and started making traccs.
Finally started letting my peers here my music which they love, sever since then i been producing other artist , bringing out artist potential , started a lable with my good friend The Mobstars Incorporated /MacMobProductions . My biggest music artist imfluences are E-40 , the jacka, 2 pac , mac dre , fat tone , Brotha lynch, master p , scarface. My biggest producer influences are Bosko, The Worlds Freshest, mike will, ear drummers New projects im workimg on my album
The Mac 2 Me Lp. This project will be my first complete project with features from well known local artist and top notch production , mixing and promotion. Should be done around thanksgiving maybe christmas Collaboratin with another local rapper named north wess on a future mixtape The NorthWess Mobstar mixtape.
