What is your most memorable vacation and why ? By the time this is in print I will have returned from it . Ama Waterways Stars of South Africa . We filled the ship and the Safari Lodge !

I really enjoy gardening . It gives me instant gratification . We have a 10-acre lawn that sometimes overwhelms me but it keeps me very busy during the Spring and Summer .

It may not be my biggest , but the one I am most proud of is the first COE award I earned in 2008 . I left a toxic work environment to open my agency and was repeatedly told I would fail ...

I just received my 29th & 30th award from Nexion - What ’ s on your professional and / or personal bucket list ?
I would love to go to Greenland . Monica , my wife , would love to go to Vietnam . Not sure how we ’ ll compromise on that one ...
What advice do you have for people coming into the travel industry ?
Focus on selling what you love but learn as much about the industry as possible . Outside influences , such as Pandemics , Politics , and war may force you to shift your focus .
What would you like to hear from your suppliers during the President ’ s Circle Event ?
I just enjoy getting to know them a little better . The “ power of partnership ” is very important to me .
What is your agency ’ s 2025 focus ? I started in this industry many years ago . Our “ niche ” was paying the rent . Now I want to focus more on quality and less on quantity and be rid of the type of travel that drains my energy ...
