What is your most memorable vacation and why ? The very first cruise I took my kids on . There have been more interesting trips but that one is my most memorable because of how excited my kids were and experiencing the ship and the islands through them !
Please name a few of your passions , hobbies or talents .
I love to read , watch movies and of course travel . I am an admitted Crazy Cat Lady . I love my own and will always pet and take photos of cats on my travels too .
Please name your biggest professional accomplishment .
Being able to open a store-front agency and hire an assistant . Serving my community with a travel agency where they can come and sit down with an agent and plan their trip in person has been one of the best decisions I ’ ve ever made and my agency is thriving because of it .
What is your agency ’ s 2025 focus ? More groups !!!
Please share with us one thing that most people do not know about you .
I actually HATE to fly !!! It ’ s necessary but anxiety inducing for me .
What ’ s on your professional and / or personal bucket list ?
I ’ d like to get to Africa in the next 12 months . And I would very much like to gain a bigger personal following on social media so I can sell more group trips .
What advice do you have for people coming into the travel industry ?
Patience . You ’ ll need a lot of it . You most likely will not be very successful right away . And get yourself a mentor ! You ’ ll need it . There are lots of online groups for agents to adk questions but there are a lot of unkind people in those groups who will make you feel very “ small ” and not actually be helpful . If you have a mentor you ’ ll have the kind of support you need to be successful .
What would you like to hear from your suppliers during the President ’ s Circle Event ?
How they plan to continue to support agents vs how many seem to be going the route of Direct Sales ( ahem , Southwest Vacations ...)
