The concert will be a special homecoming
for Lynyrd Skynyrd as the band returns to
perform where their legacy began over 40
years ago. With a catalog of over 60 albums
and sales in excess of 30 million worldwide,
has become a cultural icon that has spanned
fi ve decades.
“We are very excited to have friends Jason
Aldean and Kid Rock join us in our hometown
of Jacksonville,” said original member Gary
Rossington. “Playing where the band got its
start all those years ago is always special
but having these guys with us makes it even
sweeter. We can’t wait to rock EverBank Field!”
The Jaguars kick off a three-game home
stand at TIAA Bank Field beginning Sunday,
Sept. 16 against the New England Patriots, the
defending AFC Champions. Fans can get into
the game day spirit with three consecutive
nights of live music at Daily’s Place as part of
the Massage Envy Concert Series.
Heavy metal favorites Deep Purple and
Judas Priest will co-headline Daily’s Place
on Wednesday, Sept. 12. The very next
night country star Dierks Bentley takes the
stage with special guests Brothers Osborne
and LANCO. Wrapping up the week at the
downtown Jacksonville amphitheater is a
one-of-a-kind performance by iconic artists
Sting and Shaggy. They will combine their
bands to collaborate on each other’s most
celebrated hits such as “Every Breath You
Take,” “Englishman In New York,” “Message
In A Bottle,” “It Wasn’t Me,” “Mr. Boombastic”
and “Angel.”
The rest of September features two more
Jaguars home games versus AFC South
rival, the Tennessee Titans, followed by a
matchup against the New York Jets. Live
music at Daily’s Place in September with
two more shows featuring rising pop star
Troye Sivan and country music favorite
Darius Rucker.
