Pregnancy massage is a beautiful piece in any mother’s journey towards delivery when presented
responsibly. The relationship between mommy-to-be and massage therapist may begin before
the baby is a few cells big. This class covers the traditional aspects of prenatal massage like
positioning, pressure and medical implications. The lecture also touches on the topics of
miscarriage, conception stress, and 4th-trimester issues. Students will learn new ways to offer
support for mothers-to-be through massage and bodywork.

Waterless Aromatherapy Body Wrap

Whether you are in the beginning of growing a skin care, massage or spa-related business or
several years into starting one, this class will give students some new options for adding waterless
body wraps to their client offerings. Students will also learn how to pre-qualify their business
and clients for the addition of spa treatments as well as how to avoid some common pitfalls and
mistakes when selecting treatments, equipment or product lines. Additionally, students will explore
easy ways to introduce the spa experience to clients without a huge budget. The first 100
pre-registered students to arrive at the classroom will receive one or more complimentary full-sized
products from Bon Vital and/or Biofreeze to take home.

This two-hour class aims to help massage professionals draw on the resources around them
and build an exclusive menu of services. We’ll take a look at industry trends from the worlds of
massage, spa and wellness. The lecture will encourage students to evaluate possibilities based on
individual circumstances. Each topic inspires integration between the therapists’ work environment
and connections to clientele. Students are encouraged to assess their menu. This class enhances
the mental side of massage with the intent of extending careers. Through self-care, education via

Dry Exfoliations

Dry exfoliations are one of the simplest and most enjoyable spa treatments to add to your massage
services but are often overlooked or rushed through by service providers. We’ll discuss the benefits
and contraindications of dry exfoliations as well as the many variations of tools and products
that can be used in this relaxing service. The class will involve some lecture plus time to see two
treatments. Upon completion, students will be able to understand how to incorporate Dry Brushing
and Dry Exfoliations as a stand-alone service or as an add-on to massage or facial sessions.
