whereas at SKC I gained the contemporary spirit.
What were your artistic influences?
That was my main problem! My sculptures didn’t belong to
conceptual art, but, on the other hand, they did not belong to the
ULUS current either, so it was very hard for me to break though and
reach the ULUS exhibitions with my work. I didn’t exhibit at SKC either because I did material stuff. Yet, I was stubborn enough not to
give up on my work. I was extremely critical towards conceptual art
for I wouldn’t take for granted anything as absolutely positi fR
