1. PASSING PATTERN
Level 1 no choices- Follow your pass
Level 2 choices! Initial pass to yellow cone player can choose red, blue or orange then next pass chooses one of the other 2 colors and continues then to last options. Pattern continues to the other side.
This wrinkle of choosing who to play helps players make decisions and can deter programming players with patterns. The choice helps with deciding before they receive the ball and encourages 1st touch to be productive to where they want to pass.
2. FLYING CHANGES 2V2 AND 4V4
defending in the box and blocking shots.
Touch the posts 2v2 to big goals with GKs
Ball starts with GKs hands. After the ball goes over the endline / goal line, the defending team goes off and a new ball is brought on by two players waiting on the goal line.
Fast action and quick rotation of players.
4v4 touch the post very similar set up; when a player scores, they go and touch the post( goal attacking), a new ball is brought on by team waiting, fast action game many opportunities for attacking in tight spaces, shooting,
Variation where the ball starts at 1 / 2 way line, opposite endline( create 3 goal set up for GKs).
