If you want to reach an audience who enjoys the great outdoors , consider a Parks and Nature sponsorship . Garner PRCR manages 11 parks totaling more than 475 acres . These parks feature open space , athletic courts and fields , picnic shelters , playgrounds , walking trails , and more . The White Deer Park Nature Center ( WDPNC ) sees over 12,000 visitors a year , who can learn about local North Carolina species through various native wildlife displays , including taxidermized specimens and live animals . The Nature Center is also the host of over 80 environmental education programs and events per year . Sponsorship opportunities are listed below .
Memorial Bench
Honor a special person , company , achievement , or event with a Memorial Bench in one of Garner ’ s parks . Your sponsorship covers the cost of all materials , installation , and an engraved plaque with four lines of text ( 40 characters per line ) for the lifetime of the bench . Cost of Sponsorship : $ 1,000- $ 1,500
Native Tree Planting Program
Improve the ecological health of Garner parks and commemorate a special person , company , achievement , or event with a native tree . Choose from Eastern redbud , flowering dogwood , Southern magnolia , or tulip poplar . Your sponsorship covers the tree , planting , and a marker-style plaque engraved with four lines of text ( 40 characters per line ). Cost of Sponsorship : $ 250
Adopt a Garden
Link your company or person with a garden in the Garner parks system . Your sponsorship covers additional planting and maintenance of the garden , as well as the benefits listed in the chart . Cost of Sponsorship : $ 500
Nature Center Exhibits
Native wildlife exhibits are available year-round at WDPNC for the community to visit and enjoy . The exhibits include skulls / skeletons , taxidermized specimens , and live animals . Sponsorship allows us to renovate existing exhibits and create new temporary or permanent exhibits . Cost of Sponsorship : $ 500
Storybook Trail
White Deer Park includes a fully accessible Storybook Trail that is free for all park visitors to enjoy . Sponsorship covers the cost of printing and laminating the pages , rights to choose the book of the month / quarter ( book list provided ), and signage with “ Storybook Trail sponsored by your company .” Cost of Sponsorship : $ 250 per story
