Megaworld is accelerating project completions nationwide, with about P21 billion worth of big-ticket properties slated for turnover this year, reinforcing its push across integrated townships. The developments include residential, commercial, and beachside lots aimed at both investors and end-users, signaling sustained demand in mixed-use communities.
Why it matters The pipeline highlights Megaworld’ s strategy of anchoring growth in tourism-driven and business-centric locations, where infrastructure and lifestyle offerings converge. The approach positions the firm to capture rising regional investment flows beyond Metro Manila.
The big picture Scheduled for turnover are units at Sunny Coast Residential Resort in Parañaque, commercial lots at Northwin Main Street in Bulacan, and beachside lots at Paragua Beach Village in Palawan.“ We remain focused on continuing to establish our footprint in key areas around the country by delivering high-value properties in these tourism locations and business districts. This is our way of honoring the trust of our investors and fulfilling our part in helping build the nation." Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso, president and CEO of Megaworld, said in a press statement on April 22, 2026. " Each of these projects offers a development milestone for us, since these are designed to provide jobs, foster innovation, and become catalysts of growth in areas where we are present,” she said.

Basta Vaxx, Facts Lang!: A Joint Initiative between Mercury Drug, PFV and RAISE

Mercury Drug partnered with the Philippine Foundation for Vaccination( PFV) and the Raising Awareness on Influenza to Support Everyone( RAISE) Coalition to support World Immunization Week, which is celebrated annually in the last week of April. Joining the global health campaign promoting vaccines to protect people of all ages from various diseases, the partners launched“ Basta Vaxx, Facts Lang!” to raise awareness and expand vaccine access.
Zoom in Sunny Coast alone accounts for P12-billion, while Northwin Main Street represents P8-billion in value, forming the bulk of this year’ s turnover pipeline.
Northwin Main Street is positioned as a central business district modeled after global retail corridors, while Paragua Beach Village caters to eco-tourism demand with proximity to San Vicente’ s coastline.
What’ s next Megaworld is also advancing early-stage development of two new townships: Ilocandia Coastown in Laoag and San Benito Private Estate in Lipa, signaling continued landbank activation.
Bottom line The aggressive turnover schedule and new project pipeline underscore Megaworld’ s bet that integrated townships— blending residential, commercial, and tourism elements— will remain a key growth engine in the Philippines’ evolving property market.

The health professionals urged the government to expand existing vaccination programs to cover the growing adult population instead of just focusing solely on traditional demographics. In this regard, they recognized the efforts of local pharmacies like Mercury Drug in establishing stores as localized vaccination hubs.
To simplify the patient experience, Mercury Drug provides on-site doctors at these hubs to issue the medical prescriptions required for certain vaccines, removing a common administrative hurdle. Ultimately, the event was underpinned by a message to the Filipino workforce: the importance of self-care. As the experts noted, individuals must protect their own health first, lest they lose the physical capacity to provide for and take care of others.
Held on 29 April 2026 at Mandaluyong City, the launch featured an in-store vaccination event at the MDC Shangri-La Plaza Mandaluyong store, followed by a media roundtable led by health professionals, together with Mercury Drug executives.
Bryan Posadas, PFV Vice President, discussed the significantly low vaccine awareness among working adults. He clarified that immunization is not restricted to the youth or the elderly, urging the workforce to stay updated on their shots. He also emphasized that comprehensive educational campaigns are vital to addressing the root causes of vaccine hesitancy. The discussion also addressed the barriers to vaccine accessibility, particularly affordability and location.
