Registration Options
MAIL-IN REGISTRATIONS Complete your program registration form, including signing the waiver and mail with payment in the form of check or credit card.

DROP OFF REGISTRATIONS Come to the Recreation Department located in the Memorial Building during normal business hours( 8am-4:30pm) to complete your program registration form or drop your completed registration in the overnight box located in the front of Village Hall( entry in circular drive on Maple Street).
FAX REGISTRATIONS Complete your program registration form, include your credit card information, sign the waiver and fax the registration form to( 630) 789-7016.

ONLINE REGISTRATIONS: www. villageofhinsdale. org To register for any recreation program and check availability, log on to the Village of Hinsdale’ s website. Online registrations close at noon one business day prior to the start of the class. Credit card information is secure.
If you have registered for any programs or pool memberships in the past, your household will be in the database.
• Do NOT set up another household.
• The default user name is your home phone number( all 10 digits with no spaces or dashes). If you don’ t have a home phone number, that number will be the cell number used on the registration form.
• The default password is your last name.
• You may change these once you log in.
• You must have a birth date for each household member in order to register.
If you are a new client, you can set up your household by using the‘ new user’ link.
• Set up your household with just a primary adult household member.
• The rest of the family members can be added once the household is created.
• You can view information as a guest without having to set up a household.
Once you have logged in, you can search activities, renew pool memberships, and buy event tickets. When you use the‘ my account’ tab, you have the capability of viewing registration history, changing family data and printing rosters or calendars for your family. This is a valuable tool if you lose your registration information.
The Parks and Recreation department website and Facebook will have the most up-to-date information regarding class changes or cancellations.
Photos / Videos
On occasion, Village staff may photograph or videotape participants in programs / classes, or at park events / facilities. These photos are for Village of Hinsdale use only, and may be used in publications, brochures, pamphlets, flyers, on-line, or on social media.
Registration Policies
1. Individuals may only register members of their immediate family.
2. Proof of residency is required at the time of registration. Residency is defined as those persons living within the corporate limits of the Village of Hinsdale.
3. The Park and Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel, postpone or combine classes as needed.
4. A program may be cancelled due to insufficient registration. A will be issued in the form of the original payment.
5. Refunds / credits will not be made unless the Parks and Recreation Department cancels the program or a physician’ s excuse is presented. There will be a $ 5.00 service charge on all cancellations. Refunds issued after a class starts will be prorated in addition to the service charge.
6. All times, dates and locations of programs are subject to change.
7. All registrations must be paid in full with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover and the Waiver signed. There will be a 3 % processing fee for any credit card transaction.
8. All registrants are expected to follow the Village of Hinsdale Code of Conduct. Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department for more information.
Refund Policy
1. Full refunds / credits will not be made unless the Parks and Recreation Department cancels the program or a physician’ s excuse is presented.
2. There will be a $ 5.00 service charge on all other refund / credits for all cancelled programs unless the program is cancelled by the Parks and Recreation office.
3. Refunds / credits issued after the start date of a class will be prorated in addition to the service charge.
4. Programs cancelled by either the Parks or Recreation Dept. or by the client will be issued in the original form of payment, unless otherwise specified.
5. Refunds or credits will not be given after the First class for any program, unless physician’ s excuse is presented at the time of cancellation.
6. Refund checks will not be issued under $ 25.00. All refunds will be returned in the form of a check and takes 4 – 6 weeks. –
7. Pool memberships, visit passes and private swim lessons are NOT refundable.
Code of Conduct
The Village of Hinsdale asks all participants and family members to observe our behavior code of conduct, which was developed to ensure enjoyable and safe program experiences. The Village of Hinsdale will attempt reasonable accommodations to enable participants to meet behavior expectations.
