The Topshop Village is an extraordinary daylong promotional event, organized by high street giant Topshop that
will take place in the heart of Covent Garden on September 13th 2015 to mark the 10-year anniversary of
Topshop Unique.
To celebrate the date in style, Topshop will physically
bring the Topshop Unique catwalk show to a public
space by hosting the first-ever partially public runway
show at London Fashion week.
The Topshop village will be an interactive event designed
to shake the boundaries of the fashion industry by introducing new solutions to the presentation of a fashion
show as well as answer the large public demand for
fashion industry insights.
While the centre piece of the event will be the spectacular Unique show, the Topshop village will deliver a multi
sensorial fashion experience to its visitor’s throughout the
day by offering different types of activities designed to improve interactions between Topshop and its fans. These
activities will take place across diverse installations, set
across various locations of Covent Garden’s Piazza and
will each deliver exclusive insights on the making and
happening of a fashion show to its visitors.
The Topshop Village is a non-retail focus environment with no
immediate profit drivers. It’s a community sp
ace created for people to come, exchange and live an experience aiming at building
a brand/client relationship for the future.
At a crossway between a festival and a traditional fashion show, The Topshop village is a one-of-a-kind type of
event aiming at further establishing Topshop as the leading Fashion brand in terms of innovation.
The ev ent has been designed to answer gaps in both
the Topshop and the Covent Garden offer: it aims to attract younger spectators to visit or discover the area of
Covent Garden while it also aims to re establish Topshop
closer to its core consumers, the public.
