You seem young to be such a fan of Bruce Springsteen. How old were you when you discovered him? Do you have a Met-The-Boss story?

I am 29 and to be honest I didn't truly embrace "The Boss" until my early 20s. I've always been a fan of great songwriters and in my opinion he is one of the best. I've never met Bruce Springsteen, but I always joke that we would be playing him over the stereo in the store someday and he would come walking in, hear what's spinning, and walk right out.

How do you see the music industry changing?

For better or for worse, that's debatable. The obvious is music has taken a far more digital approach, not only with how it is ultimately presented to the listener, but how it is written and recorded as well. That said, there still are many artists taking a more analog approach to making music, ditching Pro Tools altogether and recording straight to tape. Vinyl sales are also at a record high in the 2000s, so I would like to think it's safe to say many listeners still do appreciate a physical form of music and appreciate it not only as music, but as the entire package the artist initially intended to create.

What music are you listening to these days?

Northcote’s Hope Is Made Of Steel,The Sonics’ This Is The Sonics, Metz ‘s II, The Stooges self-titled album, and Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska.
