Key Traits of
Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurshave a different mindset from
people who have jobs. Here are some key traits:
Stubborness.
True Entrepreneurs don’t know how to give up.
This attribute is far greater than persistence. It
means entrepreneurs have to actually learn how
to give up. They have to learn when to cut their
losses and move on. And usually they can’t
move on until they’ve indentified their next big
idea or business concept.
Divine Dissatisfaction.
True entrepreneurs are dissatisfied with the
status quo. This does not mean they are unhappy
people. Quite the contrary, true entrepreneurs are
compelled to create something out of nothing
and to make this something better than it’s ever
been made. Legendary Choreographer Martha
Graham described it best as “a blessed unrest
that keeps us marching and makes us more alive
than the others.”
Carpe Diem.
True entrepreneurs recognize great market opportunities and put all of their energy into exploiting these opportunities. It’s all about seizing the moment and doing whatever it takes to
succeed.
