Ambition:

When words are never enough….

We’re sorry to learn that Wali Collins’ mom, Lorraine Collins-Gibbs, passed away on Feb. 17, 2015, after a brief illness.

In the years since I’ve been Wali Collins P.R. person, I’ve told and retold the story of how Wali came up with the concept of Y’NEVANO. And it all began with his mother.

Wali was working to be the best architect in New England, but in his heart he knew he was born to be in show business. One day, he told his mother that he had decided to give up being an architect and instead he was going to be a comedian. Her response was priceless. She said, “Y'NEVANO” (You never know).

Soon Y’NEVANO became more than his mother’s encouragement to live a life without regrets. Y’NEVANO became a state of mind. If the Y’NEVANO philosophy could profoundly change Wali Collins life, he knew he could share the good news with everyone. So he wrote a book, “The Y'NEVANO Book of Encouragements,” which is all about living your best and following your dreams.

Y’NEVANO will put a smile on your face and make you a happier person. So here’s a tribute to Wali’s “Ma” Lorraine Collins-Gibbs, who was one awesome lady.
