Ultimately, it doesn’t matter whether our leaders are left, right, boys, girls, gender precise or gender neutral. A true leader has a god-like quality that transcends ordinary human boundaries and inspires us to believe we can attain the same ideal for the common good. We want to have a passionate mission that connects the dots, is greater than any one person, and brings out the best we can be as human beings. We want leaders who are willing to fight alongside the rest of us.

Before jumping into battle

What’s your strategy? Your press release is not a single longship randomly scouting for a new waterway. Each press release must fit into an overall strategic campaign, which means drafting multiple press releases in a layering of stories, and creating compelling visual content that is adapted to each social channel.

Let your voice ring clear

What’s your message? Your message should be sent in waves bobbing under a flotilla of longships. Don’t announce your strategic partnerships. Let’s first take Paris by storm and get gory photos to scare and intimidate others into premature surrender so they will pay you to go away.

Not all kingdoms are equal

Instead of scattering your forces among all social media platforms, pick the best ones to reach your target audience and pummel them into submission.

Build strategic alliances

Every word you utter in press materials and posts on social media is intended to show your strength, your bravery and your cunning. Get to know the key influencers in your kingdom and scare them to death.

Send in the Berserkers

Your strategy should never be boring and predictable. Be clever, be creative, and keep people guessing. In battle, be swift and ruthless. Take no prisoners. Win.
