“My worst job was at a commercial music production company, trying to sell their services—creation and production of original music to advertising agencies and soap operas. They put me in a windowless basement room with no air conditioning, no support, no direction, and expected me to work miracles. I did not last there long.”

–Sally Haver, Senior Business Development Executive at The Ayers Group, div. of Kelly Services

“I worked during summer break in college pulling up tree stumps with an axe and by hand. hard work and blisters on my hands. The guy gave me a 10 minute break for Lunch. Brutal, but the job taught me some good lessons about life.”

–Michael Fliegelman, President of the Strategic Wealth Advisors Network

“Working for a large telecommunications company. All the bosses just licked the boots of their superiors and pushed responsibility and deadlines downhill.”

--Robbin Block,

Marketing Strategist, Radio Producer & Host

What was

your worst job?

“My bad job was actually one that could have been a good one, had it not been for mean people…the old employees, who wanted to teach me a lesson. I was hired to work in a huge greenhouse where they were growing carnations. The flowers were fine and beautiful, but the temperatures were reaching 110 degrees. During the peak hours at midday, the old employees stayed outside, but ordered me to do work inside. I got overheated to a point of nausea. I thought this was a job from hell…” –Milan Heger, Artist, Architect, Designer
