Diagnostics included vertical maxillary excess, altered eruption pattern and hypermobile lip.
Steps for Treatment:
a. comprehensive orthodontics were coordinated with surgical exposure of the canine to facilitate orthodontics
b. orthodontics were removed and esthetic crown lengthening surgery was completed to expose her clinical crown with consideration of her lip mobility and excessive maxilla
c. no restorations were placed in this case which forced surgical correction of any remaining orthodontic deficiencies
d. final photos provided following 9 months of healing and single surgery without revision
