locations, to other cities and have advocates speaking about this issue. And, of course, I would like to film a short documentary about the lives of these individuals and tell their stories to the world.”

#IAmHuman, as she envisions it, will include creation of film, music, fashion, art, talk shows, media, public events and more.

So far, the #IAmHuman campaign is just a gleam in Yuliya Suleymanova’s eye, but the planning is already well underway.

“We ultimately want this LGBTQA art installation is to raise money and awareness for young adults who have been turned away from their family and friends, by conducting an auction of local designers’ work such as fashion, photography, and design services.

“We’re interviewing the members of the LGBTQA community and getting their feedback, to get their acceptance and to get their support,” she says. “I wouldn’t want to proceed without their support.

“We’re still brainstorming, but we’re already talking to members of the LGBTQA community, says Yuliya. “We have a location. So we’re moving ahead with the installation.”
