LETTER from the EDITOR

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

January is traditionally the month to make New Year’s Resolutions. Although many resolutions are related to health, wealth and wellness, our writers will not be giving you tips for fat crushers or how to sober up.

Our approach to health and wellness takes a piercing look at what it means to have a sense of well-being. Achieving happiness has little or nothing to do with wealth and possessions and everything from having a sense of who you really are deep down inside when no one is looking and the smart phones are turned off.

Documentary filmmaker and author John de Graff explores the true meaning of well-being and happiness. The highly regarded activist Veterinarian Morris Samson raises our awareness about some of the health risks prevalent in the modern-day practice of Veterinarians. Plastic Surgeon Henri P. Gaboriau explains why the face lift is dead…or not dead.

There are many other stories and we invite you to take a peek at them. Every day is a new day to make resolutions and to get into the rhythm of keeping habits that makes us healthy, whole and in tune with our innermost selves. It’s up to you to seize the significance of each and every day.

Happy New Year!!

- Patricia Vaccarino
