I am totally fascinated and in awe of the animals and how they are all so beautiful in shape, size and color. It is interesting to see animals in their habitat in the way they live, hunt, act and how they are very protective of their young. My favorite animals are cats and dogs but more so cats due to their innate sense nurturing and their fearless way of being which resonates in me.
I connect extremely well with cats, even though I am allergic to them, especially cats of ancient Greece who were worshipped in that time. One of my favorites was Goddess Bastet, who is the Goddess of Protection, Fire, Passion, Birth, Dance, Music, and the Home. I see myself as all of the above. I have much passion and fire within me that makes me super determined in all that I do within my purpose. I call myself an earth mother as I am a mother to many even though I do not have children of my own. I love dancing and music because it helps me create opportunities and gives me life, especially during the trials and tribulations that I may be dealing with. My heart is definitely my home where my peace, happiness, freedom and authenticity lies. Like a cat I sense pain and suffering within those who are near and dear to me and seek to help and console.
I believe we all connect to a certain animal that we have great admiration for in how we see ourselves in them. In certain cultural myths it is believed of animal reincarnation when a human being passes on and we were also believed to have been created from primates/monkeys who are also animals that are vastly intelligent. Animals are such a wonder as well as a mystery but beautiful beings in the same.
