GIRL ’ S LAX

The girl ’ s lacrosse team opened up their season with a win of 8-7 over Ramsay . This team put in a lot of hard work and effort into becoming the best athletes they could . Molly Blakely led the team with a goal count of 35 , she also had the leading point count of 43 . Shaina Sweezy had the top assists count of 11 . The amazing goalie Kaeli Robinson had a total of 200 saves .

Boy ’ s GOLF

The boys golf team had an outstanding season with a 13-5 season , some honorable matches being West Milford , Parsippany . The boys skills and determination paid off with the team making it to Sections 1 and 2 Group 1 with the highest ranked player being freshman Derek Czepiel with a score of 91 . The boys did such a great job this season , congrats to them !

BASEball

Pequannock Township High School ’ s baseball team had a remarkable year , finishing with a 26-5 record and claiming the Group 1 state championship . Their journey to victory was marked by resilience and determination . Despite falling behind 4-0 in the first inning of the state final against Buena , the Golden Panthers refused to be defeated . Pitcher Joe Sabbath showed composure , allowing only four more hits over the rest of the game . The team ’ s offense came alive in the second inning , with Donovan Cassel delivering a crucial two-run single . They continued to fight and eventually tied the game at 4-4 . John Vanaria ’ s RBI fielder ’ s choice gave Pequannock a 5-4 lead , which they held onto for the win . The team ’ s unwavering belief and never-give-up attitude propelled them to their first state championship since 2009 . Pequannock Township High School ’ s baseball team can proudly celebrate their successful season and their well-deserved state championship .

BOY ’ S LAX

The boy ’ s lacrosse team embarked on an exhilarating journey that set the time for a remarkable season , opening with a victory of 11 to 7 over Hanover Park . The boys demonstrated their skill , unity , and determination from the very start which shows by their record of 16 wins and 3 losses . Donte Chef had the leading goal count of 42 goals in the season , and Braeden Brady had the most assists ( 41 ) and the most points ( 66 ). The player ’ s dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence kept them driven for this phenomenal season .

Girl ’ s GOLF

The girls golf team , just like the boys , had an outstanding season with their score for the season being 14-7 . Some honorable matches include Pope John , West Essex , and Mount Olive . The girls made Pequannock proud at their last match up against Parsippany winning with a score of 238-247 , and junior Abigail Goll with a score of 55 .

Softball

The softball team had a great season with the score of 14-12 . Coach Goodwin reached her 500th win this year against Pompton Lakes . At their seasonTournament Mackenzie Minervini threw her 300th strikeout against Ridgewood . Later on in the season the girls made it to the NJSIAA Tournament , First Round Section 1 Group 2 winning against Glen Rock with a score of 10- 0 , and senior Nicole Klimek getting her 100th hit . Their season came to an end after their loss at the NJSIAA Tournament , Quarterfinal Round , North Jersey , Section 1 , Group 2 against Ramsey .
