HIGH SCHOOL HEROES

Pequannock Township High School ’ s Future Business Leaders of America chapter concluded its year with the High School Heroes Program . Partnered with Junior Achievement , FBLA held three day-long sessions at local elementary schools : North Boulevard , Hillview Elementary , and Stephen . J Gerace . In teams of two or three , members of FBLA were assigned grade-specific lesson plans focused on financial literacy and the importance of understanding business in society . On May 31st , June 1st , and June 6th , Pequannock ’ s youth , grades ranging from kindergarten to fifth , enjoyed engaging in the different activities led by FBLA ’ s High School Heroes and was awarded at the end of the school day with a completion certificate ceremony . With being centered around the pillars of leadership , service , community , and business , FBLA strives to maintain and continue the integrity of these events knowing the positive impact the exposure of such information has on the next generation . FBLA would like to thank Junior Achievement for sponsoring the event , district administrators for embracing the program , and all the participants for their hard work and positive representation of Pequannock Township High School .
Award Update : Pequannock Township High School ’ s chapter of Future Business Leaders of America was awarded the prestigious Silver Champion Chapter Award for 2022-2023 . Congratulations to the club ’ s advisor , executive board , and members on this accomplishment !
