Why do you enjoy being a security guard at PTHS ? I am able to continue my career in public service and safety and interact with some great young adults and watch them learn , grow and become successful members of our community . Why did you choose to be a security guard at PTHS ? I retired from the Bergen County Sheriff ’ s Office in June , 2020 after serving 25 years . My friend and former coworker Brian Boyce told me about the open position at PTHS starting the next September . What are some fun facts about yourself ? I am passionate about BBQ , cooking , scuba diving , and listening to 80 ’ s heavy metal ! What is your favorite vacation spot ? My favorite vacation spot is Truk Lagoon , Chuuk , Micronesia . If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life , what would it be and why ? I would definitely eat steak . Why do you enjoy being a security guard at PTHS ? There are good bosses , good co-workers and it is a great working environment . Also the hours are good and it ’ s close to home for me . Why did you choose to be a security guard at PTHS ? I had retired from the Pequannock police department and I needed a part time job . Plus I knew a few of the guards and Mr . Lucas before I started so that made it an easy choice . What are some fun facts about yourself ? I enjoy watching sports , especially baseball . I spend time hiking and walking my yellow lab , Daisy . I have an old car that I tinker with and drive when the weather is nice . What is your favorite vacation spot ? My favorite vacation spot is Ortley beach , NJ but I also love Hawaii . If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life , what would it be and why ? I would eat pizza or buffalo wings .

Why do you enjoy being a security guard at PTHS ? I enjoy the camaraderie that comes from working with a group of people that you spend a lot of time with . Why did you choose to be a security guard at PTHS ? I learned of an opening at PTHS through a good friend and current PTHS security guard who I had served with for over 20 years . What are some fun facts about yourself ? I have flown in the CH-47 Chinook and the UH-1 Huey military helicopters , I have been on top of the New Jersey side tower of the George Washington Bridge , and I am an avid New Jersey Devils fan . What is your favorite vacation spot ? The Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island is my favorite and Bermuda is a very close second . If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life , what would it be and why ? I would eat eggplant parmigiana from Vesuvio ’ s in West Milford because it is a delicious combination of red sauce , mozzarella and eggplant .
