On Saturday, October 15th Pequannock Township hosted its annual hoedown. Clubs and businesses within the town set up booths to showcase what they stand for. Groups also held “mini” events, where younger kids could come and learn about the business while also winning prizes. Focusing on shopping locally, local food vendors came to hand our samples and promote their products. Operation Smile held a booth run by students, where you could buy OpSmile apparel, read pamphlets about what the club stands for, and check out pictures from previous years and get a complimentary lollipop and stickers! It was a great way to connect with neighbors and learn about all the wonderful opportunities Pequannock has to offer.
