Dear PPMI Participant,
I would like to thank you for participating in PPMI. I know this is no
small effort on your part. As a person living with PD, I know how
important it is to find biomarkers. Without your contribution, this
would be very difficult. Because of information researchers are
learning now through PPMI, I have hope for my future, and hope
for all people with PD.
Since my diagnosis 10 years ago I have done my best to talk
about PD and advocate for more participation in clinical trials. I
have participated in over 10 trials myself, and I’m looking for my
next one. So, I have at least an idea of what your commitment to
the PPMI study entails. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for
your participation and all that you are doing for people with PD.
