NHS Premises Assurance Model
Since 2013 , the department of health and social care has published and regularly updated the NHS Premises Assurance Model ( PAM ). We are well positioned to assist and support NHS providers who are required to make use of the PAM . This includes acute , mental health and independent sector providers .
According To NHS England , Function And Benefits Of The NHS Premises Assurance Model Include :
• The ability to demonstrate to patients , commissioners and regulators that robust systems are in place and to provide assurance that the premises and associated services are safe ;
• Helps trusts prioritise investment decisions in order to raise standards in the most advantageous way ;
• The ability to measure compliance against legislation and guidance across the whole NHS .
