The Power of a Praying Woman
5. Plant seeds of kindness. You have a choice in what you plant in a garden. You take the seeds you want and put them in the soil, and God makes them grow. Kindness is something you have to deliberately plant. Or, to put it another way, kindness is something you choose to put on, like a garment. “Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering” (Colossians 3:12). The ultimate act of kindness was when Jesus gave His life for us. Pray that His brand of kindness will grow in you so that you can lay down your life for others with acts of kindness too. 6. Plant seeds of goodness. When the goodness of God is sown in your soul, it leads you to produce good deeds. “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things” (Matthew 12:35). “Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit” (Matthew 7:17-18). Ask God to help you abide in Him so that His goodness will grow in you. As it grows in your heart, good things will automatically come forth from your life. 7. Plant seeds of faithfulness. When we are solid, steadfast, dependable, reliable, loyal, and trustworthy and do what is right no matter what, we exhibit faithfulness. “He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much” (Luke 16:10). Pray that His faithfulness will continually grow strong in you every day t ?B??R&R?fR?&?F?B??W"f?F?gV??W72v???7G&V?wF?V?WfW'???R??RF?V6??B??7?&R?F?W'2F?w&VFW"f?F?gV??W72F???????B6VVG2?bvV?F?V?W72?v?V?vR&R'&6??B'&?v?B??B??W2V??RfVV?&B&?WBW2?B&B&?WBF?V?6V?fW2?vV?F?V?W72?2?V?&?R?VV??W72F?B?26??????
