ABOUT : Founded in 1873 , and the longest continuously running non-public K-12 school in the State of Alabama , Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School is a regional K3-12 college preparatory school whose Catholic mission calls us to an inclusive admission process . All campuses of Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School are accredited by Cognia . We have three distinct programs : Elementary campuses at St . Bede and Holy Spirit ( K3-6 ), a Middle School ( 7-8 ), and a High School ( 9-12 ).

ACADEMICS : An honors program is available to students who score well on the placement test and indicate prior achievement on transcripts . We offer Advanced Placement ( AP ) courses in English Language and Literature , American History , Art History , Calculus , Computer Science A , and Computer Science Principles . Elective classes and extracurricular activities such as debate , broadcasting , music theory , robotics , foreign languages , and service clubs are offered .
COLLEGE PREP : A full-time counselor helps students with the college selection process . On average , 95-98 percent of our graduates attend college with approximately half of those students receiving tuition scholarships .
EXTRACURRICULARS : Montgomery Catholic is a member of the AHSAA , offering football , cheer , marching band and color guard , track and field , cross country , volleyball , basketball , wrestling , baseball , softball , golf , soccer , flag football , and tennis programs . Montgomery Catholic also offers art , marching and concert band , chorus , and drama . All are offered in elementary through high school .
