Alabama ’ s community colleges offer flexible programs anywhere from two weeks to two years that make college a reality for students from all walks of life . Whether your goal is to become a teacher or doctor by starting at your local college and transferring to a university , or whether you want to complete training at your local college to become a nurse , welder , manager , or more , there ’ s training that you can start close to home .
There are 24 community colleges in Alabama , which means there is at least one college campus or training site in your area for you to attend . We also have online classes and services .
