The goal of this camp is to take rising seniors from across the state of
Alabama with strong qualities of leadership, hard work, morals, and
motivation and instill in them the knowledge of their state government
and give them the tools to be an active civic participant. The camp has
many activities ranging from a mock government where city, county,
and state positions are elected and if politics are not your preference;
there are multiple interest groups to join such as Agriculture, Public
Safety, Business, etc. There are many positions to win from City Mayor,
Party Chairman, Probate Judge, Sheriff, all the way to Governor. This
truly is one of the highest honors and privileges a high school student
can receive.
