PCA’S MODEL UN TEAM PLACES IN LOCAL COMPETITION PCA’s Model United Nations team competed at LAMP’s International Model United Nations conference earlier this month for a total of 22 hours. The team of 10 made hundreds of speeches and motions and passed dozens of resolutions, each competing against at least 50 other delegates. After three long days of constant presenting and professionalism, it all became worth it: eight of the 10 delegates walked away with awards. With many of these delegates being first-timers, PCA walked away with (3) fourth place, (1) third place, (1) second place, and (2) first place finishes; more awards than any other single school in the competition.
