Show Your Spirit
Take every opportunity to incorporate team colors and logos into your décor to
ramp up the “rah-rah” factor. And don’t forget the food. How cute are the schoolspecific cookies? Find free downloads for printables like invites, drink markers and
mini pennants at potentialmagazine.com.
GO
BIG
OR GO HOME!
If you’re having a big group, consider moving the
party outside and enjoying some crisp fall air while
cheering on your team. Don’t have a 70-inch TV
(or don’t want to drag it into the great outdoors)?
No problem. Hang a white sheet for the screen
and use a simple projector to show the game. And
throw up a portable tent (in one of your team’s
colors, of course) to provide shade and a little “real
tailgate” feel to the experience.
GET IN THE
BINGO
GAME
If the game itself is just not that exciting to everyone in your
family or friend group, add extra interest with a round of
“football bingo.” While watching the game, players look for
the symbols on the bingo card. Traditional bingo rules apply
for the rest: the first to see five in a row (horizontal, vertical
or diagonal), wins. Download cards for multiple players at
potentialmagazine.com.
