Rolling Admissions : Begins July 1 Requirements : UA will not require standardized ACT or SAT scores from students applying through the Fall 2023 Semester . Scholarships and Financial Aid :
In the 2020-2021 academic year , University of Alabama students received more than $ 300 million in merit and competitive scholarships , grants and federal financial aid .
Students who submit an application and all supporting documents by May 1 with a qualifying GPA through December of senior year and a qualifying test score by February 2023 will be eligible for automatic merit scholarships .

Unique academic programs : UA offers more than 200 different programs of study in eight different schools and colleges .
