Honors Program : The Great Books Honors program was established with deep Christian conviction that academic excellence and service should always go together . The Honors program serves students in each academic department at Faulkner by offering an honors track for each discipline . Available to freshmen with a 27 on the English subscore of the ACT ( 580 on the verbal component of the SAT ) and a 3.0 or higher high school GPA .

Campus Life : Faulkner ’ s students enjoy a small campus atmosphere where they are greeted by students and professors as they walk to and from class . Students have numerous opportunities to engage with one another during campus events , spiritual development opportunities , and compelling academic discussions . It is not uncommon for students to be on a first-name basis with our President , Dr . Mitch Henry . The food in the cafeteria is outstanding ! Freshmen required to live on campus ? Yes , unless they are commuters residing with their family . Types of Housing : Faulkner offers traditional residence halls as well as apartment style housing for upperclassmen . Fun fact : No community bathrooms ! Greek Presence : There are eight Greek social clubs ( four male and four female ) that participate in intramural competition , meaningful community service , and Jamboree ( an annual , choreographed musical production ). Clubs : Some highlights include the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization , Missions Club , University Chorus , Band ( Marching , Jazz , and Concert ), and the Faulkner Sports Network .

For regular admission , students must have an 18 on the ACT or a 960 on the SAT .
